In short: With the UniFi Access Gate Hub we connect sliding and swing gates, barriers and garage doors to UniFi access control, to open by phone, PIN, card or licence plate and log every opening.
Our approach
Most gates and garage doors already have a working operator. There's no need to change it: the Gate Hub connects to its open input and adds identification, permissions and logging.
Combined with a compatible UniFi Protect AI camera, the gate can open automatically for vehicles with an authorised plate.

About gates & garages
Do I have to change my gate motor?
Usually not. The Gate Hub connects to the open input of the existing operator. We check it during the visit, along with the door's safety devices.
Which door types can be controlled?
Sliding gates, single and double swing gates, barriers and roll-up garage doors, plus a pedestrian door.
Can it open by licence plate?
Yes, with UniFi Access License Plate Unlock, combining the Gate Hub with a compatible, well-positioned UniFi Protect AI camera.
