Infrastructure

Structured cabling and network infrastructure installation

The foundation you don't see: the right category of cable, a tidy network cabinet, labelled outlets and switches that power everything else over PoE.

In short: A professional wired network includes Cat 6 or higher structured cabling, labelled outlets and patch leads, a rack cabinet with patch panel, managed switches and, where needed, fibre between buildings.

Our approach

Cable is the hardest thing to change later. That's why we plan it for today's installation and the one ten years from now: points for workstations, TV, access points, cameras and readers.

Every point is terminated on a patch panel, labelled, and recorded on a plan. That way any expansion or fault is resolved in minutes.

Benefits

What you gain

  • Stability

Cable doesn't suffer interference or speed drops.

  • PoE

A single cable carries data and power to cameras, access points and readers.

  • Order and documentation

Tidy cabinet, labelled points and a network plan.

  • Ready to grow

Spare capacity in switches and conduits for future expansion.

Applications

Where we install it

  • New builds and refurbishments

Network pre-installation in every room and a network cabinet.

  • Offices

Workstations, printers, meeting rooms and IP telephony.

  • Warehouses and outbuildings

Fibre or wireless links between buildings.

  • Messy cabinets

    Reorganisation, switch replacement and documentation.

FAQ

About structured cabling & infrastructure

What cable category do you install?

At least Cat 6 in new installations; Cat 6A where multi-gigabit links are expected (high-end WiFi 7 access points, aggregation switches) and fibre for long distances or between buildings.

Can you cable a finished home?

Yes. We use existing conduits, false ceilings and discreet trunking. We assess every route during the visit.

Do you install rack cabinets?

Yes, from small wall cabinets for homes to floor-standing racks for businesses, with patch panel, cable management, PDU and UPS.

Need cabling or a tidy-up of your network?

We design the infrastructure and leave it fully documented.
