Network, WiFi and cameras for restaurants and shops
So the POS doesn't fail on a Saturday night, customers have WiFi on the terrace and the till and storeroom are covered.
In short: In a restaurant or shop we separate POS, staff and customers into different networks, install indoor and terrace WiFi, cameras at the till, dining area and storeroom, and access control on the staff door.
Common situations
Does any of this sound familiar?
- The POS or card terminals lose connection.
- Customers use the same network as the till.
- No coverage on the terrace.
- Unexplained stock losses in the storeroom.
